Dr. Ed Davis graduated from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1982 then performed a Residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the Veterans Administration Medical Center of Washington, DC. After completion of residency training, he served in the National Health Service Corps providing podiatric care in rural West Virginia. A number of chronic foot problems such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, shin splints and so on are due to faulty foot and ankle mechanics and attention to discovery of the mechanical issues is essential to achieving a long term cure.Dr. Ed Davis also strive to offer the latest technologies such as the Orthoscan in office digital x-ray and fluoroscope, diagnostic ultrasound, extracorporeal shockwave therapy, the Topaz procedure, Tenex TX and more. The first priority is biomechanical correction of foot problems but when surgical treatment is required, Davis, who is Board Certified by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, maintains privileges at both the Baptist Health System and Methodist Health System Hospitals in San Antonio. Additionally, he performs procedures at outpatient surgery centers including Christus Santa Rosa Surgery Center in Stone Oak, St. Rafael Surgery Center and others. Dr. Davis is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to treating fibromas. Many podiatrists contact him to learn procedures developed by Dr. Davis. I had my first injection three days ago and my foot is still very tender. The next injection should be less painful because the module will be much softer. I’m so fortunate to live close to San Antonio to see the best!!

Found Dr. Davis to be an expert in his field. Tried office visit to remove a shard of glass embedded in my left foot just behind the big toe. Worked on me for about 30 minutes, but x-ray still showed something was there so Dr. Davis had me go to the OR at Baptist Hospital in Stone Oak where I got the best of care. Dr. Davis was able to remove the shard of glass and I am now in recovery. Am very satisfied with the treatment I received from Dr. Davis and highly recommend him to any suffering from foot issues. Very bright and knowledgeable and explained things very clearly about what was wrong and how to fix it. Staff was also great. Wayne Kuhn

My appointment was a few days after my GP saw me. I arrived on time to Dr. Davis' office and was seen in about 10 minutes. Dr. and staff were pleasant and courteous. If I need hi services again, I'll go back.
