Antimullerian Hormone (AMH), Female

  • CLIA Certified Labs
  • Best Price
  • Digital Report

AMH-MIS may be used in the investigation of ovarian reserve since AMH concentrations in adult women reflect the number of small antral and preantral follicles entering the growth phase of their life cycle.

  • Sample Type: Blood
  • Results: 2-5 days
  • Age: 18+

Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) is produced by reproductive tissues. AMH levels in women are at their highest during puberty, and gradually decrease until menopause, when they become undetectable. This test measures AMH in the blood, which helps determine how many viable eggs are left in the ovaries. This evaluates whether or not it's likely for a woman to be able to conceive, and can predict the onset of menopause.

No special preparation required.
