This test can help evaluate conditions that affect both men and women, such as decreased sex drive, infertility, and pituitary disorders.

This test measures testosterone levels using the Liquid Chromatography and Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS-MS) methodology. Testosterone is the primary male sex hormone. However, it is present in both men and women. In men, testosterone is produced primarily in the testicles. Small amounts of testosterone are produced by the ovaries in women and the adrenal glands in both sexes. Measuring testosterone can help to diagnose the cause of some conditions in men, such as delayed or early puberty, erectile dysfunction, and testicular tumors. It can also help evaluate conditions that affect both men and women, such as decreased sex drive, infertility, and pituitary disorders. This test measures testosterone in people for whom a standard testosterone blood test may not be sensitive enough to provide accurate results. For certain groups of people who typically have lower testosterone levels such as women, children, and men whose bodies do not produce enough testosterone (hypogonadism), an LC/MS-MS test may be a better option. This test is typically ordered to monitor testosterone levels in men who have been diagnosed with hypogonadism or are showing symptoms such as infertility, erectile dysfunction, decrease in muscle mass, lack of facial or body hair growth, osteoporosis, decreased sex drive, or fatigue. This test is also ordered for women who are showing symptoms of abnormal testosterone levels such as abnormal facial or body hair growth, thinning hair, acne, abnormal menstrual periods, infertility, low sex drive, osteoporosis, fatigue, and depression. It may be used to test children who are showing signs of delayed or premature puberty.

No. At Tripment Health, we focus on providing transparent healthcare services to uninsured or under-insured individuals. We’ve negotiated prices directly with lab test facilities to make diagnostic lab panels available to individuals who would rather pay directly than go through a private or government-sponsored insurance carrier.

No. By purchasing a blood panel, you will not be able to submit any claim, bill, or other request for reimbursement to any insurer, third-party payer, or Government health program. However, you can use your FSA or HSA card.

You will receive a payment confirmation email, then an additional email confirming your appointment details (type of test, time and location of appointment, and QR code). You will need to present your QR code to the testing facility in order to check in.

Once your test is complete, you will receive your results within 1-3 business days.

With a blood panel, you can establish your body’s baseline values for basic health measurements like cholesterol (total, triglycerides, HDL, LDL and total cholesterol/HDL ratio), glucose and hemoglobin A1c. Additionally, depending on the blood panel you choose, you will receive data on performance measurements such as Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, Magnesium, Thyroid Stimulating Hormone, and/or Testosterone.

Your results are more than just numbers. Your results come with a personalized recommendation from one of our physicians.
