Vitamin deficiencies can be the result of an improper diet or underlying health conditions such as digestive problems or malabsorption disorders.

Blood testing to check your vitamin levels can help identify which vitamins you may need to focus on getting more of through adjusting your diet or taking supplements.

This package includes:

Vitamin B12 and Folate: B12 and Folate (Folic Acid) play important roles in a number of bodily functions including the production of red and white blood cells, repairing damaged cells and tissues, and maintaining healthy nervous system function.
Vitamin D: A Vitamin D 25 Hydroxy test measures the combined level of D2 and D3, the primary forms of vitamin D. Vitamin D is important for maintaining the body's immune system as well as the healthy development of bones and teeth.

Vitamin testing can be ordered by anyone who is interested in checking their levels.

Fasting for 8-12 hours prior to collection is recommended. Specimens should be drawn before Schilling test, transfusions, or B12 therapy are started.
